1st-2nd graders!  We typically run programming for students in 3rd-12th grade, but for this particular clinic we are welcoming 1st and 2nd graders as well! ...because we have identified that Nov 25-27 is a date range when a few Elementary Schools have days off for parent-student conferences.

Parking:  We're on the turf field (not grass!) There's plenty of street/lot parking on the West side of the turf, right beside Mercer Middle School.

DETAILS:

Seattle Tempest and Seattle Cascades are hosting a series youth ultimate clinics on Monday-Wednesday, November 25-27, 10:00am-3:00pm. We will offer a variety of drills suitable for different levels of play, so all experience levels are encouraged to attend. Coaches will be Tempest and Cascades players - learn from the pro's!

We will provide snacks throughout the day, including fruit, bars, chips, and gummy bears. Players are welcome to bring their own food, too. We'll have hot cocoa, too!

Beginners focus on solidifying skills, fundamental strategies, and spirited play. Experienced players have opportunities to engage in intermediate and advanced ultimate tactics, in addition to refining skills, practicing SOTG, and making friends! Most sessions include a strength & agility component and all clinics include plenty of play-focused activities.

We will run a brief age-appropriate workshop on either a Social Justice issue or a Social Emotional Learning topic.

Registration is open to elementary school (grades 1st-5th), middle school, and high school students (grades 9-12). All genders welcome, including players who compete in the girls division, boys division, and mixed division.

Each kid who signs up gets a disc to take home!

CHECK IN:

Check-in during 9:30-10:00. When you arrive at the clinic, we'll confirm that you're registered and hand you a disc. Players will be supervised from that point until they are picked up at the end of the day.

WHAT TO BRING:

- A sack lunch. (We'll provide snacks throughout the day.)
- Cleats or athletic shoes for playing on artificial turf.
- Appropriate clothing. Keep an eye on the weather.
- A water bottle. (We'll provide coolers for re-filling your bottle.)
- An appetite for good sportspersonship and strong competition!

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you cancel your registration more than two days before the clinic, we will offer you a full refund. If you cancel within two days of the clinic, you may request a credit towards a future Seattle Ultimate clinic. If we cancel the clinic, we’ll refund 100% of the registration fee.
